A Message from Lynda:
Welcome to my site. Please feel free to take a look around at the gallery or information about our classes or teachers. If you are new to A Stroke of Color, let me tell you a little about myself.
Early in my life, I was fortunate to achieve a higher education and ultimately earned my BFA in Art.
As a young child, I spent most of my time creating drawings that I could teach to my dolls or anyone in my family who would play along!
My goals and love for teaching Art has led me to continue my education each year and achieve a higher goal of study with some of the finest teachers in the country. I teach each student color theory along with how to see their visions and create that picture on a canvas. Together with those two elements, they can draw or paint whatever they want.
My dreams are to create the best art education and atmosphere at my studio, build my students' self confidence, and to allow them to create what is important to them. My dreams have come true. Creating what is important to the student who walk in my door and wants to learn art is what makes me happy.
By continuing your art education through classes, you will develop your skills and love of art with the desire to grow as an artist. Seeing my students grow is a passion in my life!
I invite you to walk into my studio and be a part of my world.
Your life is an open canvas and I will teach you to create your art masterpiece!
Put Art In Your Heart!
